Year 7 Admissions Policy for 2012/2013

At a recent meeting of the Governing Body, members considered responses to the recent consultation regarding admissions to Year 7 for September 2012. It was decided that the proposed changes would stand and the new policy will be implemented for present Year 5 boys when they are in Year 6 in the Autumn Term. We are delighted that this change to Glyn’s admissions criteria means that 36 more places, out of the usual 240, will be available to boys living more local to the school. As Glyn’s popularity has increased over the last few years, more families are appealing to gain a place for their son here and the Governing Body believed that they had a duty to ensure as many places as possible are available to local boys.
