The Glyn School Trust

The Glyn School Trust is a registered charity and raises money to buy expensive items that the school would otherwise be unable to afford. Over the years it has enabled the school to get the original fittings and equipment for the Library/Resource Area and provided the five-badminton court Sports Hall. £60,000 was contributed towards the building of the Performing Arts Suite and most of the equipment and instruments were provided for the Music and Drama departments, including the soundproofing of the Music Technology Room. The Science Faculty have benefited from £10,000 worth of equipment in addition to microscopes, colorimeters and a still. The Trust has also provided the piano for the Hall and new curtains for the Hall windows and the stage. Annually it provides £10,000 towards text books. The Trust depends on donations from Parents and Old Boys and on making successful applications to grant making trusts. Please seriously consider if you are able to support the Trust, for any amount of money, by either making a Gift Aid donation or Give As You Earn donations.
